Workforce-development grant covers six to twelve months of Inspire360 Club service and gives YMCA trainers access to $16,000 in continuing education each. Applications close November 1, 2026.

SAN DIEGO, CA — September 15, 2026 — Inspire360 today announced the Inspire360 Education Grant for YMCAs, the first education grant built specifically for YMCA workforce development. Selected Ys will receive six to twelve months of Inspire360 Club service at no charge, giving their trainers access to a continuing education library valued at $16,000 per trainer, with education from TRX, Functional Movement Systems (FMS), Exos, and the American Council on Exercise (ACE).

If you run fitness at a YMCA, you already know this problem. Your trainers are the reason members stay, but continuing education is one of the first lines cut when budgets tighten and the education that does happen is hard to organize across branches.

The Y helps kids build confidence, gives families a place to connect and helps people stay active at every age. That work depends on staff whose knowledge and confidence shape every person who walks through the door. This grant is built on a simple belief: investing in the people who work at the Y is an investment in everyone they serve.

"YMCA teams do an enormous amount for their communities, and the people delivering that work deserve the very best education," said Ravi Sharma, Vice President of Partnerships at Inspire360, who is leading the initiative. "We built this grant to make a practical difference inside the Y: trainers who keep growing, managers who can actually develop their teams and members who get more from every program. Covering six to twelve months of service takes the platform cost off the table so a Y can put this education to work right away."

What participating YMCAs receive

Participating YMCAs receive far more than a platform login. They give trainers access to education from leading brands Inspire360 works with, including ACE, TRX, Functional Movement Systems (FMS) and Exos, plus specialty certifications at no extra cost, and turn that education into stronger coaching on the floor. Teams can build practical skills in functional training, movement quality, strength, mobility and program design, while weight-management education helps trainers support one of their members' most common goals within their professional scope. Sales and member-engagement courses help staff connect those goals to the right programs and services. The result is a more confident team, more consistent member experiences, clearer development paths that help retain employees and more reasons for members to stay active at the Y.

For YMCA leadership, Inspire360 Club brings staff development into one system. Managers can build learning pathways, track course completions, verify certifications and manage development across branches. Education stops being a line item and becomes a program leadership can see.

The goal is straightforward: stronger coaching on every shift, staff who stay and grow, and more capacity to deliver the programs their communities ask for. Covering the platform service cost for the awarded period removes the biggest barrier to starting.

Applications close November 1

The Inspire360 Education Grant for YMCAs is an in-kind award of platform service funded by Inspire360. Selected YMCAs receive between six and twelve months of service at no charge, with the duration based on program eligibility and selection criteria. Awards are limited.

YMCA leaders can apply through November 1, 2026, by contacting Ravi Sharma at ravi@inspire360.com or 720-315-2913. Eligibility requirements and full award terms are available upon request.
